The story is basic and simple, but the special effects are amazing considering this film was done in 1932. How did ghost and shadow people happen? No green screen and CGI back then. The acting was decent for people essentially brought in off the streets. If you're digging your way through classic/old-time horror films, this is definitely one to watch.
