Originally from Africa, Mari McCabe (voiced by Megalyn Echikunwoke) grew up an orphan after her parents were killed by local greed, corruption, and wanton violence. But Mari refuses to succumb to the terrors surrounding her. Inheriting her family's Tantu Totem, Mari can access the powers of animals – anything from the super-strength of a gorilla to the speed of a cheetah. As Vixen, she fights valiantly to protect the world from the threats like those that claimed her family. From executive producers Greg Berlanti (Arrow, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl), Marc Guggenheim (Arrow, DC's Legends of Tomorrow) and Andrew Kreisberg (Arrow, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash), Vixen also features the voices of Arrow and the Flash stars Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen/Arrow), Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) and Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon) as characters from the live-action series.

Calificaciones y opiniones

Solid attempt to broaden the DC appeal outside of their big three. This is a decent movie that is really 3 episodes woven together. Some small things don't make sense (especially in the 3rd act) but kids who are into these shows who aren't overly critical will like it.

The animation is standard for DC. But I'm sick and tired of seeing all black superheroes portrayed as criminals. Start in jail. Did some crime. Short sighted arrogant and angry. This is what we want our young ones to look up to. A superhero that's criminal first, ghetto second, and a superhero third.

Vixen first started out as the first animated web series on The CW's CW Seed of the Arrowverse series set with Arrow and The Flash. The films shows the story of Mari McCabe who inherits her family's Tantu Totem with the power to mimic the abilities of any animal that has ever lived on Earth. I love watching most knowing Mari McCabe / Vixen is one of coolest black superheroes I ever known.
