Acerca de esta película

We've Got Balls is a quirky, family friendly that offers a good many laughs as it imparts a tender and important social message. The film's premise centers around the concept that what may mean nothing to one person may mean everything to somebody else. It keys in on the proverbial David and Goliath scenario when a filthy rich land developer, Vivian Brechner, decides not to renew the land lease on a bowling alley in a small town, so that together with a local avaricious tribal Indian chief, she can tear it down to make way for a gambling casino.

But what happens when the 52 people in Fountain Springs learn that Fountain Bowl the “only thing they've got” is teetering on the brink of destruction? Their community lifestyle, as they have known it, is about to come to an abrupt and tragic end. Or, is it?

You want laughs? Then Cherie Kerr's We've Got Balls is for you. Funny, irreverent, like a 90 minute SNL Sketch that's actually funny. Great characters and a lot of balls, bowling balls that is. This film played to a sold out house at the beautiful Krikorian Theaters with NO COMP tickets and a line out the door. Laughter rang from the theater for the entire screening with no dead spots. That's hard to do for any comedy let alone an indie comedy with no real name stars and an unknown director. Just think about the 40 million dollar stinker Movie 43 directed by Elizabeth Banks and packed with stars and they couldn't get a laugh. You want funny, get We've Got Balls, you'll get plenty of laughs.

You would be better off watching Toy Story 3 (this is what we did!). We watched the first 30 minutes and thought it was a waste of money.

Hooray for the people of Fountain Springs who take on the bad guys! They indeed have balls! Some really funny stuff. Big cast. If you count all the people who appear in the credits it's actually more than 52, which is the fictional town's population. Why take a chance throwing your back out actually bowling? Stay houme and watch this instead.
