Gilbert Grape (Depp) lives in Endora, a place where nothing much happens. The only times the police got something to do is when Gilbert's autistic brother Arnie (DiCaprio) tries to climb up on the watertower nearby. Taking care of Arnie is mostly Gilbert's task which can be pretty demanding, at least while you are working at the local grocery store. Then one day Becky (Lewis) and her grandmother passes through Endora getting trouble with the car. Gilbert falls in love with Becky, but gets problems when he tries to find time for his own private life.

I'm sorry, but I'm NOT a Johnny Depp fan @ all, whatsoever. THAT said, I am a HUGE Leonardo DiCaprio fan & his performance as a young kid was amazing. It's not easy acting like someone who's developmentally disabled. Albeit, DiCaprio ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS seems to be extraordinary in ANY role he plays!

very emotional! made me cry. I recommend renting or buying this movie because its just everything! You'll love it, I had my doubts about this movie because watching a trailer wasn't gonna say much about it but watching this movie is now my favorite, I don't regret it at all. All im gonna say is yes you should watch it. If you love drama or about someones life, its the right movie to be watching.

This movie was the first movie which I saw from Johnny Depp and since that time I fall in Love with Johnny Depp, he's so charming and he's the best happening in my life, I love him 😅❤️😍😍
