Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group. Now, with the nation's government falling into chaos and time running out, it's up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.

Very typical most likely future headlines somewhere in the world very realistic things like this are all to common, some naieve uni grad pen pusher with a top job always gets outperformed by practical rookies/guards and normally end up being the instant backbones. so typical in this day n age. Great effort.

The movie was pretty bad. Acting was off. The camera work was good. The dialogue was hourse poo. The overall idea of the movie was ill executed. Not worth rewatching...

Fun, well-written action in the vein of the first three Die Hard movies (i.e; the good Die Hards).
