If you're looking for Linda Carter from the ww tv show, this ain't her. On the other hand if you're looking for a lanky lassie warrior out to save the world, this IS IT! There are lots of cgi (superhero movies couldn't be made without them - remember LC and her twirl! If not ask your dad!) action with a twist on history and mythology and a hero strides forth to fight for right! Enjoyable romp! It's entertainment folks!

I wasn't impressed with this film, i know that makes me part of the minority but i still disliked the film for many reasons. I thought the time spent on the island could have been longer, i would have liked seeing more training scenes. The training scene was probably a total of 3 minutes. The actor who played Ares was totally miscast, and looked ridiculous in his Ares suit! The action wasn't that good, mainly cgi was used unconvincingly. The final fight scene with ares and wonder woman was rubbish. The scottish guy and the red indian characters were annoying. I really don't understand the point of Steve dying, especially because his character is in a few DC animated movies and comics. Diana and Steve story shouldn't have ended in this film.

I'm a big fan of comic book movies, but the people doing the DC comic movies need to stop, have a look at what they have done so far and then completely change their format. This is the second DC movie that I have felt was a complete waste of my time. I found it so slow. The humour was half hearted and it felt that the action scenes, were put in as a half hearted, not really wanted but I suppose I must do, by the director. The director seemed more interested in ramming women's lib down our throats. Something my partner said she also noticed. I made it until about three quarters of the way through before I fell asleep. My partner managed to see it to completion an stated it did not improve. I think I will stick with Marvel and give DC based movies a miss. It's a real shame.
