Not too bad, not as well done as Tombstone or Wyatt Earp, but still pretty decent. All n all can't complain, it covers a different story then the other 2 movies. So if your familiar w those and enjoyed em, you should be ok. If your expecting another Tombstone you may be a bit disappointed, not because this isn't a good movie, more because Tombstone was really well done. But this movie is still worth a watch.

The movie had a strong, linear storyline. Easy to follow. However, there were problems. The audio mix wasn't great. The accompanying music was occasionally over modulated, thus drowning out the dialog, which required me to use subtitles now and then. (If there's a re-release in the future, I'd re-mix the sound.) Some of the scenes appeared to be take # 23; that is, the actors appeared to be slogging through some scenes as if they had done the thing over and over and over. There were a few continuity problems, most notably when Wyatt and Spike got into a fist fight at the end. Spike's guns were, then were not in his holsters. Of course, anyone who's lived in Kansas must have been amazed to see those Kansas mountains, especially around Dodge City. I noticed similar mountains in Kevin Costner's Wyatt Earp. Not even the Flint Hills could compete with some of those mountains...or big hills,,,or whatever they were. The audio mix, continuity flubs, fatigued young actors who couldn't keep it real through multiple takes, and the location scouting are where the producers cut costs by not hiring the best people to attend to those matters. Also, dialog coaches could have done a crisper job with some of the actors. Some Southern accents were fake Hollywood Southern. Peter Sherayko's guns, as usual, were historically correct for the period. My understanding is Sherayko supplies the guns for the movies he's in. But...I'm being nit-picky. I liked the movie and may buy it.

Looks, moves and feels like a low budget TV western.
