An interesting plot which lacked some of Marvel's trademark cleverness but was a thrill to watch all the same. It was full of action, but more importantly, had a story which was easily followable. Don't ever forget the rule of Marvel films - stay until after the credits!

I really wanted to like this more after the excellent First Class but the poor dialogue, obvious directing and messy plotting let down a great cast (Dinklage steals it), some iconic imagery and a tidy conclusion. Ratner should have left this one to Vaughan in my opinion.

If the previous movies are correct then shouldn't he be working for the military not working for a 60s gangsta. Even if that where is his brother. X-Men apocalypse was 10 times better
