An entire town's population walks up a mountain trail and disappears. Years later, a group of intrepid explorers take a mind-bending trip up the same road and find an ancient evil still lurking in the New England woods.

I'm convinced the five star rating is from the director or producer of this movie. It's terrible, confusing, weird, and a complete waste of time and money. The acting is bad and it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. There's plenty of free movies out there, go watch literally ANY of them and it will be better.

This is a 2010 movie NOT a 2022 movie. Like many movies lately SOMEONE is mislabeling them all. Now there are several movies made about trails much like any written about the apilacian trail (such as "Wrong Turn") this is similar to "Beacon Point". It is a movie the references vaguely to the endless much as the movie "The Endless" explains as well as the recent Thor movie "Thor: Love & Thunder" does as well.
