Deceit

Inspector Keith Pedder and criminal profiler Paul Britton devise an untested undercover operation which will see ambitious officer Sadie Byrne tasked with forming a relationship with suspect Colin Stagg to get him to reveal whether he's responsible for Rachel's murder.

Under the alias Lizzie James, Sadie gains Colin's trust as they exchange a series of intimate letters. But just as the operation gains momentum it's threatened with exposure.

Lizzie and Colin meet face to face. As the weeks pass by, it becomes clear that the pressure Sadie is under is starting to have a profound effect.

As the trial approaches, everything rests on Sadie's evidence, but is Colin really the killer?
