I Am Jazz

A new Jazz emerges, eager to expand her social circle and explore dating. But Jazz is also hiding a dark secret from her family that may come out to haunt her. Later, Hurricane Irma makes landfall in Florida, threatening the safety of the Jennings family.

Jazz and Jeanette return home to the devastation left by Irma. In an effort to help, Jazz and her parents drive to The Keys to help in the clean up. Later, the family travels to San Francisco to meet with Dr. Bowers who has some shocking news for Jazz.

Learning she needs to lose 30 lbs to be eligible for bottom surgery, Jazz commits to losing weight. Later, Jazz and Jeanette participate in a debate over controversial research that suggests children shouldn't be placed on hormone blockers before puberty.

Jazz and her family head to NYC for a vacation and surgical consultation. While the family enjoys the sights and rafting, Jazz fears she may need to undergo a painful procedure. Later, Jazz and Greg argue over whether Jazz is ready for bottom surgery.

Jazz explores dating girls and agrees to hang out with a potential female love interest. Jazz and Jeanette meet with Jazz's therapist for the therapy letter needed for Jazz's bottom surgery, but find the letter may not be as easy to obtain as they hoped.

The entire family supports Jazz's weight loss effort by having a family soccer match. Meanwhile, Jazz resumes hypnotherapy to control her binge eating. She also helps her friend raise money for hormones, and gathers the courage to ask out Victoria.

Jazz undergoes past life regression hypnosis for her weight issues and finds insight in a troubled past. She also pressures her parents to allow her to go to virtual school, and goes on her first date with a girl hoping for a romance.

Greg and Jazz attempt to surprise Jeanette with a wedding vow renewal ceremony; Jazz gets an unexpected gift on her 17th birthday; Dr. Volker makes a decision about Jazz's therapy letter; Dr. Bowers has one final ultimatum regarding Jazz's bottom surgery.
