Stacy meets Charles' ex and learns he gave them the same engagement ring. Jamal flirts with dreams of stardom when he moonlights playing piano in a bar with Kita as a free style vocalist.

Stacy and Charles both are exhausted from trying to outdo each other in bed. They eventually must agree on when to say when to each other. Jamal objects to Tasha's plan to put pink-colored clothing on his baby son for a photo shoot.

Charles meets Stacy's med school friends who cause resentment in Stacy when they relate more to Charles' down home sense of fun. Jamal's client's attempt to seduce him are thwarted by Tasha.

Charles and Stacy go to pre-marital counseling and discover that they have less in common than they thought. Kita makes Tasha jealous when she is a super babysitter when Tasha has jury duty.

Stacy hires Charles to renovate her office and learns how difficult it is for couples to work together. Kita has romantic dreams of Jamal.

Charles replaces Stacy's old briefcase when he finds out it was a gift from an ex-boyfriend. Tasha wants to make sure she still has sex appeal now that she's a stay at home mom.

Stacy is procrastinating when it comes to a wedding date so Charles hires a wedding planner in order to speed up the process. Tasha becomes an entrepreneur when she "invents" a baby skin care line.

Stacy is offended when she learns Jamal and Tasha have given custody of the twins to Jamal's sister in case of emergency. Kita takes a vow of silence to explore her spirituality.

When Stacy can't bring herself to announce a wedding date at their engagement party, Charles doubts Stacy's commitment and puts their engagement on hold.

Charles and Stacy's casual encounters keep ending up in the bedroom which leads Stacy to think their relationship is back on.

Stacy goes on a date with a patient's father to test her feelings for Charles. Tasha uses Stacy's house to impress her Mahogany Mamas group.

Tasha and Jamal plot to get Charles and Stacy back together, but the plan goes awry when Stacy and Charles each bring (platonic) dates to a listening party.

Charles and Stacy reminisce about how they got together during their wedding rehearsal dinner. Their wedding day yields several surprises.
