Lucifer tells Trixie (recurring guest star SCARLETT ESTEVEZ) a bedtime story about an investigation when he was on Earth back in the 1940s… which we experience in all its black and white glory.

After a nun is killed at a convent, Amenadiel and Chloe search for the culprit, while Lucifer and Dan (series star KEVIN ALEJANDRO) “help” in their own way.

When THE old flame of Choe’s is a suspect in a murder investigation, Lucifer begins to wonder if he is right for Chloe.

Lucifer’s mojo goes on the fritz while he and Chloe investigate a sinister murder.

With a serial killer on the loose in Los Angeles, it’s up to Lucifer and Chloe to stop the chaos and protect the people they care about the most.

In the second half of the season, God (recurring guest star DENNIS HAYSBERT) makes his grand appearance and Lucifer already can’t wait to send dear old Dad back to where he came from. Unfortunately, for Lucifer, God isn’t going anywhere, and wants to get into every aspect of Lucifer’s life. Lucifer decides to avoid family bonding time by solving a murder with Chloe at a family-owned mini-golf business.

In a musical episode, God chooses to spend more time with Lucifer in hopes of helping him let go of all his resentment. But for some reason, people tend to break out into song and dance.

Still on Earth, God tags along with Lucifer and Chloe on the murder case – much to the chagrin of his son.

After arriving in Mexico for an extradition case, Dan learns that the prisoner won't be discharged until the next day and decides to have a few drinks with an old colleague… and wakes up the next morning lying next to a dead body! What the hell happened last night?

Linda confesses to a murder, but Lucifer and Chloe sense there’s more to the case. Meanwhile Maze helps dig into the mystery and bumps into an unexpected old friend.

Chloe worries about her future with Lucifer as they solve the brutal murder of an aquarium’s chief operator.

Chloe and Lucifer focus on a murder case, with their prime suspect possessing superhuman strength.

In the season finale, an old enemy comes back with an offer for Lucifer.
