About the English test and certficate
The EnglishScore test is delivered on a mobile phone, so it requires different security measures and rules.
We use security features such as face monitoring technology through your smartphoneโs selfie camera. You must be alone in a quiet place with your whole face clearly in the camera during the test.
These rules help give you and organisations confidence that your results are accurate and reliable.
To take the test and purchase a certificate, you will need to turn on your test security.
Once the test is complete, EnglishScore awards you with an internationally recognised CEFR level from A2 to C1 and a more detailed score between 0 and 599 aligned to the CEFR framework. This is a recognised global standard for describing language levels. You can use your CEFR score to compare results with tests such as IELTS, TOEIC and TOEFL.
The British Council EnglishScore Professional Certificate is recognised by leading employers and education institutions around the world.
You can use a Professional Certificate to help advance your career, including applying for a job or to enhance your CV.

This app is so useful and helps with your English score. I personally use it to check my English score and try to see my weaknesses so that when the university time is near I would have an idea about the test. I know that there is time for university, 2,5 years to be exact, but being ready early is better than waiting for the last minute. Anyhow, I recommend this app to anyone who is trying to improve himself in English and get ready for the gid university time. Good luck ๐ค

I think the core test is a very solid placement test, much better than those that only focus on grammar. I suppose the LinkedIn badge might be useful but the certificates are not widely recognized yet. I'm not too sure about the grading of the speaking and writing tests either. However, the ES app is a very quick and easy way of getting a placement done. If you can't get a Cambridge English certificate get a certificate from this app.

Very frustrating experience. I completed the test multiple times and achieved a B2 level, then paid to receive my certificate. However, my results were repeatedly invalidated with the claim that I was not alone, even when I carefully followed all the rules during my later attempts. No clear explanation or evidence was provided. This lack of transparency and consistency makes the process feel unfair and unreliable. I do not recommend this app to anyone who needs a trustworthy certification.
