"Sahel" App is a Unified Government Application for e-services for various government agencies. Through this application, the citizen and resident can perform their services and transactions easily, quickly, and effectively according to the highest quality standards, to provide a new experience to accomplish government transactions.

The App provides an integrated platform for citizens and residents to receive notifications and announcements from all government agencies, gain access to all government services, and contributes to improving the provision of services electronically.

Services provided by "Sahel" App:
• Data: Enables identifying the status of the relationship for (citizen/resident) with the government through official documents, status, and expiry dates.
• Services: Allows applying for services provided by government agencies to the public.
• Notifications: Provides alerts and reminders from government agencies to the public that shows the status of the service provided.
• Appointments: Can book government appointments via the META central platform.
• Announcements: Single window to present government agencies announcements, through which they highlight their services, news, and other information for citizens and residents.

App main objectives:
• Allow for quick and improved services of government agencies
• Simplify government processes and make it easier for citizens and residents to complete government transactions
• Reduce the number of auditors required in government agencies and institutions
• Facilitate conducting government transactions through electronic applications

Ratings and reviews

The idea is good, it shows the great efforts made by the government to make the process of documents smooth , fast and effortless. I'm so grateful for their efforts. however, there's a lot of points of weaknesses in term of technical part. The updates they made are not matching all phones.and there's significant problems after each update such as the requirement of only PDF form while the application allows only Jpg. the two stars I gave will be converted to 5 stars if they fix the (tech/prob)

Latest update not working in my phone. Tried uninstalling and installing again but same issue persists. It'll ask for password when you start but after password fails to go the menu, instead it asks for the password again. If you enter password again, it will show lock screen.

Not available in English . Do you really expect everyone to be able to read Arabic. Why isn't there any English option available yet it's been so long since the app was launched, and every other app that you have integrated into this app has an option to view it and operate it in English. For example, KUWAIT CIVIL ID AND MEW . It's really frustrating, especially when you get a notification and you have no idea what it means. PLEASE PROVIDE AN OPTION TO VIEW THE APP IN English.
