I was looking for a quick reference for technical rescue applications as well as training purposes. We have a lot of go to knots but I use many infrequently and this is a great tool to quickly recall past knowledge. Haven't paid for an app for years but the reviews convinced me and I was not disappointed. Great work and can easily teach a novice.

A truly exceptional app which teaches a wide variety of knots in different areas of endeavour, including sailing, camping, and the every day. The app gives easy to follow animations for each knot which can be slowed, paused, or reversed so that the user can fully understand tying technique. It also gives ABOK references and small historic factoids on usage, alternative names, and similar knots. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this app to anyone interested in knots for any purpose whatsoever.

this is pretty good that it has instructional videos that show how to make the knot and you can adjust the speed. and I just learned that you can progress and rewind the video just by swiping your hand over the front of the knot as you're viewing it. brilliant
