This is the app used to access the DirecTV and DirecTV Stream video on the go service. The service works well at least in terms of availability, picture quality, and the availability of channels while on the go. I have used the service since the AT&T TV Now days. This app does error out on loading content a lot lately which is frustrating. It does not support PiP. It does not have a video quality selector (720p, 1080p, etc). Player errors do not have a retry button acconpanied with them.

Essentially useless, can't sign in, went through process to sign in but the app is not working. It accepts User ID and my password but that's as far as I get. My response to the developer. The DirecTV is properly handling the accounts of the customers that have a joint ATT/DirecTV accounts. Using the DirecTV app goes to my ATT account instead of my DirecTV account. The app has now messed up both accounts. Rating remains a one.

I replaced my satellite dish with the streaming app. I can barely watch it on my 75" TCL-ROKU device. It constantly pauses every couple of minutes as if someone was actually pressing the pause button. Live tv, Prime, YouTube all play perfectly. The app does work just fine on my other devices with no issues whatsoever.
