Ratings and reviews

The ad blocking and anti-tracking features make it a must have. While I'm generally in favor of the ad base support for websites it is just getting out of hand. It's to the point you can't read an article or browse the website without popup ads blocking your view. I get a lot more done when I'm using Brave Browser. The other great feature is your favorite extensions are available because it's based on Chromium.

I appreciated the increased security, speed, and independence from 3rd parties; upon first using Brave browser. It became my lead browser app. Fast forward to March '26: it's slowed dramatically in opening pages and entire sites, sometimes to a degree that they'll crash. It constantly asks if I want a site blocked from sending notifications (Brave blocked them automatically before latest updates). Worse, it's using massive storage levels; even on restricted mode & when not in use.

Good for only PC. Even with unrestricted battery usage, "close tabs on exit" unchecked, and charging it will still randomly decide to close tabs. If I want my phone to glow brighter than the sun and explode while sitting at my coffee table, then so be it. Beautiful for PC, but at least they don't discriminate on mental faculties when it comes to their mobile team. The mobile team is what I assume to be through decision making, developmentally challenged and there is nothing wrong with that.
