AlphaTrak 3 is a highly accurate Blood Glucose Monitoring System validated for dogs and cats.

The AlphaTrak App is designed for pet owners and veterinary professionals and will allow you to:

Record daily activities, such as time of insulin injection, feeding, weight, etc.
Set reminders
Share glucose reports and curves with your veterinarian

Ratings and reviews

Far too complicated to set up. Even Bluetooth failed to connect after many attempts. Followed instructions provided with no success. Since reading other reviews and I have two dogs to monitor I have no confidence with any attempts at storing data on this device. I will use the reported readings and just go with pen and paper, maybe public available technology will catch up to that at some point as this app clearly hasn't.

ETA: Credit where credit is due. Within hours of posting my review (below), the developers pushed an update that stopped the app from crashing. I'm impressed that they fixed it so quickly. Updated star rating as a result. ❤️ Old Review: Update pushed yesterday, and now the app won't open at all. It just keeps crashing/shutting down. Developers need to roll back the update and fix it, because none of us can depend on an app that suddenly makes accessing our pets' records impossible.

I may be one of the only people to not have issues with this app. I have never had problems connecting my meter, I just make sure after I get my readings I am on the Bluetooth screen of my meter and it immediately connects and transfers everything over. I love how I can store all my info and track things like weight and signs of disease as well as how much they are eating. The app has never deleted any of my info either.
