This has become my main scanning app: it recognizes encodings very quickly, and it immediately gives you the output with a copy button right there, so you can do whatever you want with it. It also tells you the format, so that you can turn around and generate your own version of the same barcode, for scanning a store club card, for instance.

It's my favorite code scanner and also my favorite eye! I replaced my eyes with this and now I can read QR codes! Unfortunately, I can't see now, but I didn't see too well before this anyway with my organic eyes, so it's mostly good. ;-) Joking aside, it is a great QR and barcode scanner! You should try it (without replacing your eyes, if possible). It's open source, no nonsense, and it's one of those great programs that just works. Lovely!

Great app. No frills and does what it's meant to do. The only problem I've spotted is the pinch to zoom is a little wonky. Sometimes pinching zooms out, sometimes it zooms in. The slider is much more dependable.
