The app is good and the therapists and providers aren't bad, but they're a little scammy in how they conduct business. For two months, I was getting meds and therapy through here, getting told "no invoice, no payment due" now, after two months, I get a bill for almost $500, where they billed a months worth of services all at once. Very bait and switch.

The actual therapy portion of this is fine, but the customer service/billing end is absolutely atrocious. Avoid this app unless you actually want to make your mental health worse. I started using the app in July. In the middle of September, they hit me with bills for my entire tenure all at once and without explanation. The bills do not come with any explanation of the charges. I have been trying to contact their support for 2 weeks and cannot get beyond their automated loop. 0/5

I've had a very positive experience with Brightside. It's covered by my insurance, there are providers of many different backgrounds, and they use different practices/approaches to help depending on what you need. If you find you don't mesh with who you've chosen, it's very easy to go back through the bios and choose someone else. Making appointments is simple. Joining the video call is easy. I have been very pleased.
