Ratings and reviews

This app seems dated at first, but it's the best that I've found for teaching Russian grammar. Others emphasize vocabulary, but don't spend nearly enough time on using it properly. The best feature is receiving feedback from native speakers. I took away a star because I used the app without issue for nearly a month, but now the speaking portions of lessons do not work. I can give verbal feedback to other users, but the microphone does not work within lessons. Therefore I can never receive 100%.

This was my favorite language learning app. I was recommending it to friends and family because I thought the material was great, it had few ads (which I'm always willing to watch since the content is free) and it was actually explaining the language. After this most recent (forced) update, 95% of the material has been locked behind a paywall. I am extremely, extremely disappointed by this decision by the company and now I am on the search for another app that I like as much as I did this one.

Very good way to learn a language (well, Japanese, at least). This app goes into a lot more detail about things like grammar or vocabulary than Duolingo. Although, I would highly recommend getting the premium version of this app, as it gives a lot more features that will be very helpful.
