WHAT IT BLOCKS
Callfilter.app can automatically block:
• Telemarketing and aggressive sales calls
• Scam and fraud calls
• Debt collector calls
• Unwanted offers from banks
• Survey calls
• “Silent” calls (instant hang-ups)
• Calls from numbers in your personal blacklist (wildcards supported, optional)
• Calls from numbers not in your contacts (optional)
• Any other unwanted calls

PRIVACY-FIRST
You can use Callfilter.app without Contacts access.
If you choose to allow Contacts access, the app can always allow calls from your contacts (optional).

ALWAYS UP TO DATE
The spam database is updated multiple times a day. Updates are optimized to keep protection strong without draining your battery or wasting data.

Ratings and reviews

Was working well but recently I can no longer use wildcards (i.e. *) in the Blacklist for numbers. The asterisk key simply won't type anymore while entering characters in the Blacklist. UPDATE: Thanks. The fix worked and it now works as it once did. I appreciate it. Great app once again and the edit to.my review reflects that.

I've used this app for ~ a year now, it has improved my quality of life more than any other app of any category. It consistently functions perfectly. If I'm expecting a call from a number outside my contacts I'll just pause the app, or can use its record of successfully blocked numbers to call them back. I'm grateful such a wonderful app is available for free. Thank you to the developer(s); you've done so well and you are very, very, appreciated.

Great little app that lets me block calls from certain numbers while not being invasive and asking for a dozen permissions. The other apps require email, phone dialer, contacts, texts, and location permissions; but this ONLY asks for spam call permission. It doesn't even need to connect to the Internet for every call, it filters based on cached lists. Literally the best for privacy, protection, and spam protection!
