When feeling in a dangerous situation, the user opens the application and presses the "Nearby" emergency button. The police will respond to the location recorded by the application.
The user must have a protection order and have received an invitation from personnel from the Department of Public Safety or the Puerto Rico Police Bureau to download the application.
This technological tool does not replace a 911 call in case of emergency.
