I was really excited to upgrade to the new Cove Connect system, but the app and the control panel have been way too buggy for the excitement to last. When I go to review the camera the screen is often black and I have to make multiple attempts to view. This is frustrating because when I get notifications (which is hit and miss) I want to see who is at the door in real time. 3 Stars is generous.

Setup is difficult. It often doesn't recognize the devices when trying to set up. I have especially been having a hard time with the cameras and wifi disconnects. I setup simplisafe without issues, but cove is a nightmare. Once I had it installed, the cameras are a hit or miss. I'm not able to view them at all sometimes. I bought this system during Black Friday, and just moved in and setup, so it's too late to return at this rate. The setup, the app, and just general bugs all over are a pain.

Won't show my cam in faves on home screen. Just shows box saying "select favorites". When i click that, the cam I want is already selected but still won't show up. Any time I get a notification that the cam detects movement and click it, it shows a black screen. Never pulls up footage. Live view also extremely laggy both on app and on the central hub screen! Also has been saying that the system is undergoing an update for about a month now, not allowing me to view the cameras at all!! FIX THIS?!
