With Cruelty-Cutter, cast away any doubts about the products you use!

Use this app to scan an item and get an immediate response about its animal testing status. Cruelty-Cutter is the most up-to-date and vigilant cruelty-free list on the market.

Cruelty-Cutter is also your activist app! Once you scan a product's barcode, share the results on social media and also share your concern or praise with the company itself. Companies that still choose to test on animals will get the message that Cruelty-Cutter users are against what they are doing, while companies that chose NOT to test will receive your praise!

Cruelty-Cutter allows you to register your concern and help collect data to bring to companies that test on animals showing them that the public is not interested in supporting companies that continue to use animals when it is not needed, not required, and most of all, not ethical.

This app is offered by Beagle Freedom Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to freeing beagles and other animals from testing labs and working to end animal testing through education, rescue, and legislation.

I'm very impressed with this app! I was kind of sketchy of it at first, but after my boyfriend and I did some research on the company running the app, it turns out that they are doing amazing things to help out animals and I trust them. What I like most about this app is that it's easy to use and you don't have to research anything. You use a scanner to scan the barcodes of a product and the app will immediately tell you if the product you scanned is cruelty-free or not. You can use the scanner to scan a product in the store, or point the scanner at a barcode on a device when searching online. If a product is not cruelty-free, you have the option to "bite back" by sharing the result with social media. Unfortunately, that option doesn't work on my phone, but everything else does. Cruelty-Cutter is the reason why I stopped using Dove and some other common brands. They lie about being Cruelty-Free, and you have to watch for the fake cruelty-free signs. The app definitely helps with that. I've already switched to a few Cruelty-Free products, thanks to this app, and I'll continue to do my part to help save animals with their help. I recommend giving Cruelty-Cutter a try! You'll be surprised with the results!

Since they have done the update for Android, I've never had a problem. It is fast and responsive. I'm so glad that I have this app! There are things that said they were cruelty free, and it turned out to be fake statements and labels. This app has helped me verify flames of cruelty-free products instead of just relying on what may be bogus flames and labels.
