DK Visual Dictionary App contains all the audio to accompany DK's Bilingual Visual Dictionaries.

This DK Visual Dictionary app is the perfect companion to your visual dictionary. For each language, over 7,000 words and phrases are spoken in both English and the language of the title. All words are from the books and are spoken by native speakers. Simply download the free app, then use your copy of the book to fully access all the audio.

This clear, comprehensive and easy-to-use app contains all the content from each Bilingual Visual Dictionary. Just like the book, the vocabulary is arranged thematically, with subjects including shopping, food and drink, study, work, travel and transport, health and appearance, sport and leisure, technology, and the home. Search for the page you want, tap on any word to listen to it being spoken, scroll up and down the word lists for each topic, and swipe left or right to go to the next or previous page.

Ratings and reviews

Easy to use if you know what page your subject matter is on. Would be so much better if you could search by word rather than page number. But at least I can load his app. I bought the 15 minute French in 12 weeks -both the summary book and full course - and NEITHER will load because my phone is ..... too new!!! The app was designed for an older version android. No where on either book does it tell you this. It's only when you go to Play Store and scan the app that you find no audio. Useless!!

Smooth & Simple: the app was quick to download and install. I typed the ISBN code instead of scanning, but according to other comments the scanner works perfectly. The audios are clear, and the vocabulary is in the same order as the dictionary. I'm finding a lot easier to learn vocabulary since I got the Korean-English dictionary, it takes less time than searching for words individually every day to add to Anki. There's also an index at the end with useful daily phrases. Great app!

I love learningy languages and I love the DK Visual Dictionary series as a vocabulary resource. I've got about 6 of them. So, getting this app was a no brainer. And I *loved* it. Untill one day I opened it and it insisted that all of my dictionaries we're no longer iny library. Oh, the downloads were still on my phone but the program didn't recognize them. I tried reinstalling the app. No change. I rescanned each dictionary. It still insists that there are no files on my device.
