If you are a DStv customer in a country within our DStv territories, the DStv app enables you to stream live TV, catch up on your favourite series, movies and sport highlights or download to watch later offline, all on the go.

The Live TV and Catch Up content in the DStv app will be as per your DStv subscription package and country where your subscription is held. Due to geo-blocking this content can only be played within the countries in the DStv territories.

As a DStv customer you can enjoy all of these features on the DStv app.
- Live stream selected TV channels via 3G/4G or WIFI
- Catch Up on a selection of the most popular shows, sport, and movies
- Download up to 25 videos on Catch Up to enjoy offline later across 4 devices
- With DStv Kids use a safe and fun viewing environment with PIN controlled access to enjoy the coolest shows and movies
- Access the full 8-day TV Guide and set reminders to plan your viewing

Ratings and reviews

This app has really come a long way in the last year or 2. The whole interface feels fast, even on my TV box - way more optimised and stable compared to other streaming services. Channels and episodes load very quickly with decent quality. I've had many complaints regarding how bad this app has been over the years, and that kept me away from the service, but I can definitely say that it's now working to my expectation. I hope things stay this way.

Will you guys please rise up and do something about these bugs on the app for Android TV users. The new interface looks cool and all but more often than not l struggle to find the shows l want to watch, sometimes it even stops showing anything after a certain time and goes back to what was on the day before. I beg you to please fix these bugs

Navigation is a NIGHTMARE. Netflix, YouTube, and even Apple TV have a better experience. Actually, they have a far superior experience overall. Even some free services offer a much better experience when navigating between live TV streams,, especially on a smart TV. The fact u must go out, try to find the next channel, try to position at the correct point, and cluck play is... WRONG in so many ways.
