It started off great, was always reliable and was there when I needed it. However since I started using it, the available amount has continued decreasing (even though i have never missed a repayment). I have tried to reach out to ask why, and I am told that the AI makes the decision and there is nothing that can be done. The chat agents also like to end the interaction randomly because they decide that they are done with the conversation. Really disappointed in the customer service.

Hey, Abigail! We encourage you to check the Dave app daily as each day the ExtraCash advance you are eligible for could change, based on a variety of factors in your account. You can also connect a different external bank account to Dave to have the eligibility amount re-evaluated based on that external bank. - Niklaus

I really liked the budget feature on this app until recently. A few months ago my budget stopped updating once an expense was paid so it always looks like I'm going to overdraw my account. It looks like all of my expenses remain unpaid despite being listed under my transactions. This is super frustrating. I have attempted to reach out to customer support a few times and they have been unhelpful. The chat doesn't provide any helpful guidance for this issue either.

App overall is decent, but I did not appreciate being signed up for some sort of membership that "keeps your bank account connected" (which it repeatedly failed to do anyway), and a few other things for a $1 fee, which would be fine if I had known about it. It overdrafted my account which I thankfully caught quickly, but knowing this would happen would have been nice.

This release, I decided to remove a few bugs. Two of them agreed it wasn’t a good fit and we’ve parted ways. The third made a really good case for staying, so I promoted it to “feature” instead.
