Drivetool is an internal research application tool, used by field researchers from the Arealytics team to identify and record details of commercial, retail and industrial properties in different cities across the world.

About the App:
The DriveTool application integrates with Google Maps, where the buildings from the Arealytics database are identified using map marker pins. The application’s map also supports the feature to indicate the legal boundaries of a property, along with detail regarding the type of ownership of the property, based on its land parcel. In addition to this, the app facilitates Arealytics field researchers to add, and modify the property related information like photos, addresses, property use, notes, building size, location, etc.

The app allows each field researcher to collect and gather the information independently, which as per their convenience can be modified or deleted at any point of time and eventually be synced and uploaded to the Arealytics database, which again is later reviewed by desk researchers to avoid any data discrepancies. The application also provides a full audit trail to ensure the tracking of data captured and uploaded by an Arealytics Field Researcher.
