Privacy By Design is Our Promise to Our Users
All emails are fetched from your phone and stored on your device directly. We access new email subject headers (deleted thereafter), required to send notifications of an email arrival. Only commercial emails (example: receipts, Travel, Package Delivery) are stored to deliver Edison Mail Assistant features built into the Email app and Edison Trends. Personal information like your name or email address is NEVER shared. If you’d prefer to opt-out of participating in our anonymized research, you can do so in the settings menu.

An auto-renewable premium subscription that offers more advanced email experience, particularly in the areas of contact management and security, for 14.99 USD / Month or 99.99 USD / Year. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled within 24-hours before the end of the current period.

Ratings and reviews

I used to LOVE this email app but now they popup banners from square every time an email mentions money and prompt you to send payment. there is no way to disable the feature (I have spent countless frustrating HOURS trying) and it covers all of your action buttons (file to folder, delete, forward, etc). It has made checking my email unnecessarily frustrating. I strongly do not recommend this app unless and until they fix this. I will update my review if that happens.

Update: Cannot add a Google account because it asks for 2FA (which I've provided via text) then it says they need a third verification. Passkey is the only option available, and it isn't working. I've cleared the cache and storage with no success and multiple attempts. I never have this problem with other email apps (on mobile and desktop). Notifications for emails received do not work. I click on it and get a "Please Wait For Message To Download" notification with a scrolling circle of death.

I've been using this app for my email on my Galaxy S22 phone for over a year now. I like it a lot. The user interface is just about perfect. They even provide a link for making requests for improvements, which I have used. Also, I recently started getting error messages about my Comcast emails. I submitted a request for help from the Edison support team and they responded immediately with some good advice which allowed me to fix the problem. I highly recommend this app for your email.
