You can subscribe to Endel, choosing from the following plans:

– Lifetime

The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Payment will be charged to your account at confirmation of purchase.

Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, and the cost of the renewal will be provided.

Subscriptions may be managed by the user. Auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s Account Settings after purchase.

No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.

Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication.

I loved this app and remembered it today after 2 years of using a new phone and forgetting to install it. I was quite disappointed to find upon downloading it that everything is now for a price, even the simple focus option. I really appreciated these beautiful and helpful soundscapes, but as a student I can't justify spending £60 a year on ambience. I wish they would offer a free, uninterrupted option for those who would benefit from it.

The app is okay, polished interface with no bugs. However, it doesn't show as a subscription in the play store and I've just been billed for another year with no prior warning. My own fault maybe, but other apps have sent an email notification ahead of the end of the trial instead of just taking the money for a renewal.

For focus I like it, although you can get ambient music anywhere. It won't be created on the spot and therefore won't be 'original' every time, but very similar styles and sounds to Endel. For sleep, it's the same as most things I've tried, relaxing but ultimately keeps me awake. So I don't get any benefit in that regard. For $60 it's just too much for some simple sounds when I already have a music library. If it was cheaper I'd consider it, just to have uninterrupted ambient music.
