Sometimes it fails to recognise you're connected to the specified WiFi network and won't sync until you reconnect. But a well-designed, powerful app. Update: on my new phone it cannot access folders under android/data, meaning it cannot access the data of most apps to perform the sync. Yes, there is a workaround, but it's a worrying step in the wrong direction.

Uploading to Amazon Cloud Drive stopped working around 2 weeks ago. I don't want to run the risk of losing my files if I lose my phone, and I don't want to change my cloud storage provider. So, my only option is to ditch FolderSync for something else. A shame, because I liked the product. Contacted support and submitted logs, without any reply from the team. This seems to be ran by a single person, bear that in mind if you decide to buy it and rely on it.

(Update May 2019) - due to the relatively recent deprecation of SMB1 on all Windows file systems, foldersync no longer syncs with my Windows 2008r2 file server. Have contacted the developer 3 times about this, but have not had any reply. I am clearly not the only person having this issue. Until the app is updated to include smb2 or smb3 support, it's basically completely useless to me. Reinstalling smb1 on the server, incidentally, is not an option -- it's way too insecure and not worth the risk. Happy to restore the 5 stars once smb2/3 is included. So far this app has done everything I have asked of it and more. No bugs, quirks, or strangeness to battle through or tolerate (as is so often the case with Android apps I am finding out to my detriment having recently switched from an iPhone to a Samsung). A great app definitely worth the money..
