Great app and worth paying for! It plays ads every few minutes. But it worked so well for our paranormal investigation that it's absolutely worth paying to remove adverts. We had intelligent responses during an Estes method session in a haunted location. Very intelligent full conversations.In fact, it became angry and very negative. You can sweep through slower and faster, and you'll get constant responses. It's exactly the same as a spirit box, but without the price tag and bulk of one.

There is no am/FM antenna in most modern smartphones along with the description mentioning it being simulated means this is all in app and for entertainment purposes only really. As they have an inbuilt sound library your more likely to come across certain preset words so your actually quite likely to come across some spooky sounds. Would be fun around friends, theoretically it's possible to connect to internet radio and perhaps sweep for sounds which is what I was hoping for but no such luck.

This app is demonstrably fake. Cycling through the stations and using the reverse function, it is clear that none of the stations are legitimate. For example, let's say you hear the word "chocolate", as I did, on station 670. If you go forward to 675 and then reverse to 670, it will instead be static. Also every word I've heard is in a US accent despite living in the UK, so it isn't even cycling through real stations. This is not how a spirit box works. It's just trash.
