I love hbo shows but this app is awful. sometimes it refuses to even load and is stuck on the logo landing page. now when I try to do a 15 second playback the stream completely hangs and I have to reopen the app. or sometimes I don't do anything and it happens anyway. incredibly bad ui as well on both mobile and Web. (why do the Web subtitles have to be on a giant black bar? like....Just...why?) hbo u could be the best streaming app. I believe in you. but you have to believe in yourself first.

After a few episodes of watching a series, waiting for the downloaded episode to load, the app freezes up. I thought I would not have any problems with the videos loading since I already dowloaded it for offline viewing. I tried opening other movies I downloaded, same thing happens. The app still freezes up. I recently downloaded and subscribed to HBO Go but I'm already thinking of not renewing the subscription next month.

Constant buffering! App freezes! You need to exit, open to a point you get annoyed and stop watching.Never experience this with Netflix! You get what you pay for. Cheap but streaming quality sucks! I have 400 Mbps up and down hard wired with new Google TV. Update: Before developer's reply below, I have already contacted support and only provided flowering words without value. No real resolution, just speech that looks like it's made by politicians - all promises. Their support is useless AF!
