The app has a very basic, straightforward UI. The English version is seamless, no localization problems that I get with other Taiwanese banking apps (they must have a good UX writer). My problem is that withdrawals take days to show up on my balance. It makes it hard to keep up my spending. I use several banking apps and only HSBC has this problem. Just fix it so that balance changes are reflected in real time, and it'll be a perfect app.

Having used both the Hong Kong and Taiwan versions of the HSBC mobile banking app, I am quite shocked to find so many functions available in the Hong Kong version missing in the Taiwan one. Most importantly, I am unable to capture my screen after a fund transfer, an inconvenience one could easily imagine. There is much room for improvement; please address these issues promptly.

Dear Customer, We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. As some Android device users have been attacked by hacker malware recently, to protect the security of your account, HSBC TW has now suspended the screenshot function in the HSBC (Taiwan) App for Android devices to prevent hackers from controlling your mobile phone for illegal purposes.

Adding a solution to be able to log in on the website without the app would help a lot and also adding the full functions of credit cards instead of requiring a separate web-only login and platform. Furthermore, please allow Global Transfers via the app, so inconvenient to be forced to use the website every time
