Kochi1 App is a one-stop application for all your travel and payment needs in Kochi.
The new Kochi1 app is much more than just booking metro QR tickets. A resident or a tourist, young or old, anyone can travel and explore Kochi city with an all-in-one platform at their fingertips. The app will allow you to plan end-to-end trips within the city using journey planner; quick-book tickets in just a few clicks; view bus and metro timings; explore the city; get notifications of local offers & updates and manage the Kochi1 card.  
The card is truly multimodal – not only does it include metro and bus, be happy during your air travel as well. Apply for Kochi1 card using Kochi1 app and avail free lounge access at airports.

• Whether you already have your Kochi1 Card or not, you can buy QR ticket on-the-go via the Kochi1 App and pay using debit/credit card, UPI, Net Banking or Kochi1 Card 
• Get a one-way or a round-trip metro QR ticket and obtain easy refunds when you cancel metro ticket
• View ticket usage status when you enter and exit metro gates
• Book your QR ticket within 2 clicks using Quick-Book for your frequent routes

Online Metro ticket booking:
• Login to the Kochi1 App
• Click on the tickets tab on the right bottom of the page
• Enter you from and to destination
• Choose one way or round trip as per you convenience
• Click on book ticket to proceed
• Choose your convenient mode of payment
• Now it is all done, your QR ticket is generated now and you are ready to travel

Use Kochi1 card anywhere and everywhere and forget the hassle of carrying cash and multiple cards.

One of the worst apps I’ve come across on Play Store. Every time it forces us to change the password, and the same password cannot be reused for the next 3 times. This means every week we are forced to create a new password, which is very inconvenient and easy to forget. On top of that, we cannot recharge the metro card directly from the app. Even if we add money, we still need to visit a station inquiry counter for device to transfer the balance from the server to the card memory.

Worst App Design. The top up option is given along with the chips balance and when you top up, the balance gets added to online shopping balance and not to the metro card balance. And when I contacted the customer care, they said there is no option to transfer that amount to metro balance. They are intentionally cheating their customers or the app designer have no common sense.

While the ability to book tickets online is incredibly useful, the app's overall user experience is quite frustrating. As a frequent user who books a ticket every weekday, I find that my session has always expired by the next day, forcing me to log in again for every use. Additionally, the interface is glitchy, and it takes a long time to load my tickets after a booking is complete. Improving the app's stability and user-friendliness would be a huge help to regular customers like me.
