A few weeks ago I downloaded this app, but despite giving it a good go, I'm not a fan. Since getting into it, I've spent more time planting crops, harvesting them and milking cows than I have actually learning anything. The only opportunity to learn any language is through some flashcard exercises. That's because none of the story or other information displays in the target language. Needless to say, I don't think this app is a productive use of time for someone trying to learn a language.

Cute little game to aid vocab retention. Just a suggestion: It'd be much better if naala's energy replenished over the day. I have a handful with 0 😴 constantly & have to keep watching ads. Most phone apps is wait & replenish, then ads if you want more or pay£. Feel like I can barely play. It doesn't make me want to keep coming back if I can only really do anything for 10 mins then sit through a multitude of 60s ads. Which I typically just whack the volume down and look away til it's finished.

Update: raised from 3 to 5 stars after playing the game for a while. My concerns about monetization were resolved once i reached level 10. other positives: the interface is increfibly clean and uncluttered compared to other games, the dev team is incredibly responsive, and the game mechanics are solid. this team knows what they are doing. i purchased a lifetime subscription to access custom content and I LOVE it, very powerful and well worth the money.

This release adds a new special offers page in the ludo shop where you can gift a membership to a friend and buy limited amounts of ludos. Other changes include:
- You can now preview seasonal naala skins in the naalapedia before you own them.
- The length of guild messages has been increased
- Custom content is now received in order
- Custom flash cards can be a bit longer
- Several bug fixes
