This app is the command center for your Velop system and Linksys Smart WiFi routers. Use the Linksys app anywhere you have an internet connection to check connected devices, set up guest access, or keep your kids off the internet when they should be doing homework.

Our Velop product line features Bluetooth setup. In Android 6 and higher, apps must request location permissions to use Bluetooth. We don't collect or use any location information in our app.

Ratings and reviews

Says offline, when online, very slow at times to do anything. I've used a few apps or web based interfaces to connect to a lot of routers from a lot of companies, and this has to be the flakiest of the lot. I like the router, I like the speeds and the coverage, but this app is rather infuriating (and I've only been using it a day). I will probably try to use the browser most often.

Unreliable and pretty useless. I currently have 5 nodes showing as connected in the app. 2 of them are not plugged in and yet the app says that they are showing good signal output. Also, ridiculously, the phone that I am running the app on is showing as "offline". How can one have any faith in the other information it is claiming. Also as others have said, the app is slow and tedious to use.

just does not work, everytime I open it, the first page it shows is connecting to a new system. "what are you setting up" so I have to keep clicking back till it opens my account page, and even then sometimes it logs me out and won't log me back in and I'm going round and round and round in circles with it. sometimes the app freezes, it can't test the Internet speed. it's just awful all round. I can't even log in anymore. it is constantly freezing and closing down!
