Through LivingConnected you can connect your device, view your data, and connect with an CCS Diabetes Educator, an actual person, to help you stay on course.

*LivingConnected Diabetes and LivingConnected Diabetes Rx is an FDA-cleared medical device (“BlueStar”), intended for use by healthcare providers and their adult patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. The LivingConnected App includes LivingConnected Diabetes and LivingConnected Diabetes Rx, which is Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) intended to be used by healthcare providers (HCPs) and their patients – aged 18 years and older – who have type 1 or type 2 diabetes. LivingConnected Diabetes and LivingConnected Diabetes Rx is intended to assist patients in managing their diabetes with guidance from their providers. LivingConnected Diabetes Rx requires a prescription. LivingConnected Diabetes and LivingConnected Diabetes Rx should not be used by patients with gestational diabetes or patients using an insulin pump. Improper use of LivingConnected Diabetes and LivingConnected Diabetes Rx may result in unsafe recommendations that could result in hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia. It's a good app when it works, but it breaks a lot! Often it chokes up and won't open... then it won't even let me try to login and after trying uninstall & reinstall it is blocking my access... AND their phone is only staffed during weekdays, office hours, eastern time which is usually useless to me. It’s far too complex to setup and support is unavailable! What kind of medical app prevents patients using it? What kind of support for a medical app is so useless? I GIVE UP!

Very easy app, and if you have a problem, very helpful. Janie in customer service is a exmple of what customer service means, a pleasure to talk to

Why not call the app "CCS MEDICAL"? (easier to remember) I have not used it yet but i will rate in future use.. I do not use the app. My insurance covers it for free.
