About this app

MEGA provides user-controlled encrypted cloud storage that’s accessed with web browsers and dedicated apps for mobile devices. Unlike other cloud storage providers, your data is encrypted and decrypted by your client devices only and never by us.

Upload files from your smartphone or tablet, then search, download, stream, view, share, rename or delete them from any device, anywhere. Share folders with your contacts and see their updates in real time.

MEGA’s strong and secure end-to-end encryption means we cannot access or reset your password. You MUST remember the password and make sure to back up your account Recovery Key. Losing your password and the account Recovery Key will result in lost access to your files.

Use the included MEGA Secure Chat for end-to-end-encrypted communications, including video and audio calls, with total privacy. Chat history synchronises automatically across multiple devices and you can also easily add files to, and from the MEGA Cloud drive.

Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods of the same duration at the same price as the initial period chosen. To manage your subscriptions, simply tap on the Play Store icon on your device, sign in with your Google ID (if you haven’t already done so), then tap on the MEGA app.

CAMERA → Take pictures and upload your photos to MEGA

Overall it's functional, but the lack of any ability for sorting remote folders is a deal breaker. It's available in the desktop browser, and even in the mobile browser. But if I'm trying to manage a folder and want to sort by size, date, etc I find it pitiful that I have to open it first through the browser, then sort by whatever it is I want, find the filename and then open the app to manage the file. Why is there no way to do something as simple as filtering and sorting of files.

Used to be the best. But devs keep breaking the app. Can't see vids that are uploaded recently. I can click them and watch but it's like picking with my eyes closed because the video doesn't show up so it looks like a blank page with nothing even though you uploaded vids and can press the screen. I have no idea how many are in the folder or whst vids are in the folder because they aren't displayed FIX THIS

I am extremely disappointed with Mega.nz. I recently lost all my files stored on their cloud service, which included important documents and personal data. Despite reaching out for help, the customer support was unresponsive and unhelpful, offering no solution to recover my lost files. This has caused significant inconvenience and stress. I trusted Mega.nz to securely store my data, but they have proven to be unreliable
