In the last update, the menu item "Open with ..." was removed. I figured it out. I don't know the thought behind removing the menu item. It's slower to go to preview - edit icon, but workable. Down to three stars for an improvement that reduces functionality, but not two stars because I can still use it for its intended purpose. But who am I kidding, I will just reinstall my old 4 star version and not update again.
VERY poor user interface. Top third of screen being taken up by a rarely used Share button is extremely annoying. I generally have to hit refresh 6 or 8 times before it will show my files. Sometimes it never does. Crashes almost every time I delete files. I have to select and delete several times before it actually deleted the files and doesn't crash.
Since last few updates all camera pictures uploads are uploaded in random order creating a total mess in the folder, this is not acceptable! Stop messing with default apps! Poor support, can't report bugs. Terrible design - are you f serious? Who approved this mess?
Works well if you use the Dropbox app itself, and integrates fairly well with most Android file save dialogs, though not all. The Dropbox PDF viewer works, but when you try to save to Your Dropbox, you're not able to navigate up in the folders. You're stick in whatever folder you last opened in the Dropbox app. Very inconvenient for saving PDFs.
New layout wastes so much space. Annoying folder name portion wastes the top 3rd of the screen. I want a proper file browser, *not* some graphic designer's wankery.
In my LG G6 I cannot see all my files. I have a folder with 5 subfolders and in my device I'm able to see only 1. And now it's giving me business problems because I don't know when I'm going to be able to see my files to show them to my clients
• Home: When you start the app, you can now see more than just recent files. The new home screen also shows pending uploads, notifications, and starred items.
• Hide recent items: Don’t want recent items showing up on your home screen? You can now hide this section by going to your settings.
• Adobe XD support: You can now preview Adobe XD files in Dropbox, even when you’re out and about.
