Moleskine Notes works with the Moleskine Smart Pen and Smart Notebooks to empower your handwritten notes and sketches by bringing them into the digital realm. Take notes by hand, transcribe them inside Moleskine Notes, and then share them with friends and collaborators. Go offline with your Moleskine Smartpen, and all of your work will be transferred upon reconnecting with the app. This means you write and draw anywhere and still create a shareable digital copy of your pages.

The notes you take in meetings or classes can be instantly converted to text, then exported as Microsoft Word, RTF, or TXT files. Draw diagrams and import them into your PowerPoint presentations. You can export your sketches to vector art and continue to refine work.

A complete failure! I'm heavily invested in this system, and the new App is a disgrace! It took ages to migrate the notebooks, and now keeps crashing when the pen connects! It's literally unusable! Sort it out! Your advice about "continuing to use the old App" is ludicrous. The App sucks everything out of the pen, so even if you try App 2.0 it's a failure, because now the data is gone from the pen and when you find out it's rubbish, and go back to 1.0 the data is gone. Continuity gone!

The app and pen would not sync, after uninstalling and then reinstalling several times I was able to connect the pen to my phone. Then I couldn't upload the 50 pages I had written. Ultimately the pen somehow erased all its data and I have wasted time and money on trying to get this to work. To make matters worse, I was going to go to the store to get some assistance but the lady on the phone was terribly rude.

My app was not working so uninstalled it and now lost everything. I am surprised the data is not saved on the phone when you uninstall. I am sorry but for a reputable company this is embarrasing. Why should I spend money on expensive smart pads when the app is so poor you lose your data. There was no choice as was totally unresponsive to anything I would do. Spent hours trying. Not good enough to tell everyone contact support. The app should be better. You will lose customers. Sort it out!
