Love the concept, but the app has some issues. Been unable to get it to see my OneNote sub-folders. I don't like that emails are routed through the RocketBook server. And sometimes notes just don't send (email). The new reusable notebooks are cool but please, a little more work into making the app work well.
It's a great concept and book, but the app is appalling. It's user interface is not friendly and its syncing feature fails in many areas. It does not have even remotely accurate detection of which destination you cross on your booklet, and the manual sync button does not work at all. However, the clarity of the actual image taken is very impressive and the image itself is easy to capture.
The scanning doesn't compare to apps like Evernote. Slow and flaky. Edit: thanks for the response! I'll keep using the app. The ability to choose the upload destination makes all the difference.
Does not seem to send to my cloud selections after scanning. I must be missing something and have double checked all the procedures but still no luck. Potentially a great product just think a few teething problems that need to be ironed out.
Did not send scanned note to any of the selected destinations Update - I did not realize that I have to click on the green checkmark icon in the lower right corner on the scanning page in order to initiate sending.
I love my Everlast Notebook but this app is really holding the physical product back from reaching its full potential. Having to choose between bundling and auto-syncing notes is extremely inconvenient, not to mention the fact that bundling only works for pages that are directly adjacent to one another . Other things that are vexing: no option to only sync over wifi, no easy way to sync previously scanned pages to their correct destinations en masse (as far as I can tell, if you miss syncing while doing the scanning, you have to sync each page individually later), and icons that create confusion (the cycling arrow suggests that the pages are in the process of syncing as opposed to unsynced). I genuinely hope that the Rocketbook staff is planning a major overhaul of the app now that they've had so much recent success in getting their physical products to market--I'd love to be able to recommend this product without any reservations!
