The app has a unique seven-symbol shortcut system that gets your auto-cropped and high quality scans into the cloud faster than any other scanning app. Using our Handwriting Recognition (OCR) features, you can search your handwriting inside the app, use your handwritten text as the filename, and get a full-page transcription via email.

I've loved my Rocketbook for years, but all of a sudden, I can no longer send my notes in .txt format, and it'll only send in PDF. This is not helpful when I'm trying to drop them into One Note. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app, restarting the phone, and sending it to different emails, but for no reason, it now no longer sends the file in .txt.

app got a little worse recently. I would say it used to be perfect. I use the notebook with the NFC tag on it which is great to quickly launch the app and jump into a scan - but the app used to be able to open by default right to the scanning page. it can't do that anymore so now there's extra steps to get to scanning. scan NFC tag, click okay, wait for app to launch, shake to scan or click camera, then scan. they need to bring back the ability to default right to camera screen on launch

Scans quickly and easily, just what I wanted. I needed to contact IT to grant permission in an enterprise system so I could upload to OneNote. My major problem is the OCR- it tries to guess what I'm writing instead of just transcribing what I wrote, so I end up having to heavily correct the text. The pens also seem to put out a variable amount of ink, so the scan can wash out some of the letters. Still a great value and a great tool, but could be nearly perfect if transcribing was better.
