I just use this app to check the speed of my 5g or 4g wherever I am. Some areas I visit I can only get 4g or even 3g so when my browser starts to slow down, I check my speed before worrying if there is something wrong with my phone. What's more, use Network Cell Info regularly and if it notices any drop in signal, they report back to your provider so that they can get the problem fixed. The only ads I've encountered are small ones at the bottom of the user page. A reliable and useful tool.

Had this app for a few years, it was excellent and usefull. Just updated recently and although notifications are turned off, I am getting random ad notifications when the phone is not in use and screen locked!! I am far from impressed!! Also the WiFi meter is now far too small and is hardly readable. I also noticed app says it's running in the background, even when exited!! I am now Uninstalling.

works well, but the data I need, under the RAW data tab, specifically the band, is all cut off on the right side of my screen. I have a s20fe and don't have this problem with anything else, only this tab on this app, and there is no way to fix it
