I used to like this but i got a new pixel phone, installed opencpn, can't get charts, and help will not load because it "does not work with your phone". to me this means they are not keeping up to date with Android (help docs posted on 2018). update: i did find the user manual online. figured out how to get charts. it bothers me that i can't get help docs on the phone because who knows where i will be, at sea, when i need it.

The APP is very slow and keeps crashing with only UK map installed on the latest Android 14 / Samsung S22 Ultra. I am using the o-chart plugin. Moreover, during every start, it is complaining that it can not access some folder, so when I finally clicked on it to migrate, then the map for which I paid for has disappeared. Another problem is that licence is assigned only to this phone. Generally speaking, it is very complicated to use and works very slowly. I am thinking of asking for a refund.

AIS targets seem not always to show static data when expected when a Raymarine plotter using same data source has and targets remain yellow. NMEA debug window has gone so I can't see if AIVDM messages are arriving. Would appreciate putting NMEA debug window back.
