About this app

Operator Name Widget supports a Text and Logo mode. It simply displays the current network operator on your home screen.

Either from menu options OR tapping on to the widget itself will open the "configuration screen". You can customize the widget properties like alignment, display style, text color, image size etc.

Widget supports below 2 modes

Text Mode:
Select this mode to display the name of currently active network operator.

Image Mode:
Select this mode to automatically identify and display logo of the current active network operator instead of text. In case, app does not identify the current active network operator it will display "unknown network" logo.

In this case, if you see "unknown network" logo, please report the missing logo to us on our email address.

Please Note:
Application doesn't support Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). This is because MVNO provider doesn't own the "Radio Spectrum". MVNO often uses wireless network infrastructure of other major network operators; and hence application would only display the baselined network name in such cases.

The idea is good and would have been nice if a notification logo only option is also included. The widget showed unknown operator even though the app discovered the operator correctly. The widget disappeared when the size is changed large and the display type changed to text from image.

Nice idea that has the potential to get a much better rating ... What's the flaws: it uccupies unnecessarily two tiles even if it would fit fine onto one (also for the dual SIM combined widget) ... and as long as you can live with "unknown network" for years as the developer does not add new networks for years – even if you tell him month for month. And you can manually spoof the logo to an alien operator (that is not the working one) if you name your SIM card appropriately.

I use 2 sims. if i use sim 2 as default for calls it shows only my sim 1 network name. Even when there is no network my network name is displayed instead of a text which had to show no signal. Please change this. If rectified than this app would be highest rated as there is no other app which is so good with simple text.
