Ratings and reviews

technical issues... freezes often, also not a great pool instructors... you have to pay for the trial sessions to figure out the instructor is not a great fit, and Preply does not appear to care (they refer to their policy that favors their profit! not customer satisfaction) so be very careful with your selections, there is a fine print for the refund offer posted on their website (be aware)!

The app is great as a platform for language learning. But the company is run like an internet scam. Its business model seems to depend on trapping you into subscriptions and paying for lessons you can't use (im guessing because the company takes the money when you don't meet with a tutor). It's full of little traps. Restrictions on cancelling or changing your subscription, lesson credits that expire if you don't use them before the end of the month, etc.

This site to me is a waste of time. I was disappointed with this platform. After registering with them including uploading 2 certifications from the US as a legitimate teacher with years of experience, they refused to accept me. They claimed to have issues with my video which I did several times but didn't point out exactly what the issue was.They also claimed that my area of expertise is not in demand. When I try other platforms, they gladly accept my service and are far more profitable.
