It's not too bad, but the interface is frustrating, it doesn't seem all that intuitive. It's also disappointing that you need to pay for premium to change languages. Memrise is better because you can get substantial value out of it even on a free level, and that's really how it should be, in order to attract people to invest in it financially.
Doesn't work with Huawei I use and pay for the web browser version and was planning to take it with me on the go too. But it doesn't work with my Huawei P8 and from a response on the german app version, doesn't seem to work with Huawei phones in general. Will probably be cancelling my subscription :-(
Great app I am using busuu, memrise, and dulingo all together to learn Spanish for an upcoming trip and they all are so different but with all 3...you cannot fail! I love the quizzes and voice features of busuu that I do not get with the other 2...great app!
Japanese vocabulary and end multiple choice quiz doesn't work. For the vocabulary section it will always mark me wrong even though the answers are correct. For the end multiple choice quiz it will have the correct answer appear in 2 of the three choices.
One of the best apps for Japanese! I love Busuu, it has so many features that no other apps have. As some others have mentioned I really miss practising talking and writing though. Additional points; sometimes I wonder if there is a way to make the multiple choice quizzing harder? It's a little too easy I feel. Also PARTICLES. My biggest obstacles, and since Busuu is based on learning through context, which is great, but so far I haven't felt any improvement with them or my grammar as nothing is explained. Will try more lessons!
The 3 options sometimes have 2 of the same answers. Should be 3 different. I can't always hear the pronounciation, like the n in some French words. No report button for bugs, like wrong Norwegian translation for 'er' is mispelled 'ser'.
We have massively improved "My Vocabulary" so you can now see the strength of each word and practice weak ones.
See that little health bar on each word? It represents the “strength” level of the word, figured out by our algorithm. Every time you review a word using our Vocabulary Trainer, its strength level will increase.
Simply tap the button at the bottom of the screen and choose which set of words you’d like to train. If you enjoy busuu, please leave a nice review on the store.
