Ratings and reviews

Tutors are great. Preply business practices are not. They removed the option to cancel subscription on phone app, while it's very convenient on the app to subscribe and they continually push adding additional lessons. Cancellation from a computer requires you to confirm 3 times that you want to cancel. There's absolutely no customer service support. Tutors don't get paid for trial lessons even if we as students subscribe. However, they do seem to keep same price even if tutor increases, +1 Star

I used to appreciate the app, but my experience changed once I attempted to cancel my payments. To my surprise, I was subsequently charged on a credit card that was never registered in your system. My previous card had already been canceled due to fraud. I request an immediate explanation of how my new card information was accessed without my authorization. This is a serious matter and I expect it to be resolved promptly.

technical issues... freezes often, also not a great pool instructors... you have to pay for the trial sessions to figure out the instructor is not a great fit, and Preply does not appear to care (they refer to their policy that favors their profit! not customer satisfaction) so be very careful with your selections, there is a fine print for the refund offer posted on their website (be aware)!
